Villain Analysis : Toffee

Toffee, one of the villains of a fantasy cartoon show titled "Stars Vs. The Forces of Evil", plays an unexpected role throughout the story. Even though he is not introduced early unlike most of the protagonist and antagonist, his arrival in the story as the new minion for the first main villain really amplifies the work of evil done in the story which is previously shown as silly, straight-forward, highly unplanned actions to become smart, slow-but-certain, intense strategies. This lawyer-dressed tall lizard could even replace the leader of the team by earning the evil members' trust and using his master's mistakes. Even when the season of the show ends, the protagonist just knows that Toffee has been behind the curtain for quite some time while it is revealed that Toffee already had an in-depth knowledge of the situations and successfully executed his plans with a blind victory, leaving the protagonist clueless of what actually happened. Knowing all of these, it is expected that Toffee will most likely to have a major role in the upcoming season.

  1. This writing is great, for every little details have been summed up well. It represents more than one sided perception of evil. However, it would be all great if you simplify the sentences a bit -- overall, this analysis is done well that I am starting to get curious about the show itself. Cheers!

  2. I think it is a good writing by how well the writer describes Toffee. But I still don't know how evil he is, the writer just states the work of evil become 'smart, slow-but-certain, intense strategies'. Maybe the writer can write one of his evil works. But because of that, I become want to know about the show and how evil Toffee is.

    In short, good job.
